With the San Miguel Beermen‘s two-game win streak last week anchored on monster performances by Jay Washington, I was quite sure that he will be considered as a strong candidate for the Player of the Week honors by the PBA Press Corps.

In one of the televised games of the San Miguel Beermen, TV anchor Ed Picson mentioned that he saw Dondon Hontiveros an hour earlier before the game in the venue. And why is he so early? He was there to sharpen his shooting skills.

During the PBA’s opening ceremony, there was a segment that featured the new PBA’s official lifestyle magazine called Offcourt. It immediately called my attention as our very own Dondon Hontiveros and his son Isaiah Miguel were on the cover page.
After a loss in its debut game of the season, the San Miguel Beermen then stormed back strong and went on to have a three-game winning streak. At this point in time, it’s great to recognize the players who contribute to the team’s wins.
Let’s take a look at the players who played well in each of the statistical departments.

Danny Seigle was nowhere to be found during the game against the Talk N Text Tropang Texters. Courtside reporters also never mentioned any reports about him raising speculations that he is going to be traded soon.
I was in search for answers as to what is really happening. The best information and analysis that I could get is from a known SMB insider Than, an SMB fan himself also.

There are times when we are not able to watch the game of the San Miguel Beermen and reading what transpired in the news are simply not enough for a diehard fan.
For a lucky person like me who was able to watch the game, I would like to share with you 10 observations I have during the game.
