Here’s a quick preview of Petron Blaze Booster‘s (new name of San Miguel Beermen) import for the 2011 PBA Governors’ Cup.
Take a look at Highlights of Will Conroy during his preseason with the Houston Rockets before the 2009-2010 season.
William “Will” James Conroy (born December 8, 1982 in Seattle, Washington) is an American professional basketball player. He played briefly in the NBA.
Conroy attended and played high school basketball at Garfield High School in Seattle and he played college basketball at the University of Washington. Conroy is the all-time assists leader in Washington Huskies history, with 515.
Conroy played in the 2006-07 NBA preseason with the Charlotte Bobcats, but he was cut before the NBA regular season started. He then signed with the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA D-League. On January 30, 2007, Conroy was signed to a ten-day contract by the Memphis Grizzlies after they had opened up a roster spot by waiving guard Eddie Jones. After his contract ended, Conroy returned to the 66ers. On February 28, 2007, Conroy was signed to another ten-day contract by the Los Angeles Clippers, following point guard Shaun Livingston’s season-ending knee injury. The team waived Von Wafer to make room on their roster for Conroy. However, after averaging two assists in four games played, he was waived. On April 6, he was re-signed by the Clippers, who made room on their roster by waiving Željko Rebrača.

Huge SMB/Petron fan here. Rumors has it that the team is going for some trades, well I hope they would be doing it right. I believe that they are building a team around JWash as SF (heir to DSeigle – though it was DI’s team back then). They need a true PG w/ shooting skills (hope they get Casio in the future). For now make Denok your PG1, let him run your plays. Alex is just all dribble (had his winning clutch moments though). Get a shooter/slasher as SG in PJ Simon or Intal (getting back Dondon as a reliever). Need to trade Rabeh with Mamaril. If indeed they will trade Arwind then hope it would be Pingris. Baracael would be a good reliever to JWash but Guevarra will do for now. Get better trade deals with Pennisi, Yeo, Hubalde, Tugade, Cabagnot or to free some cap space for future player acquisition.
Just my 2 cents.
